Family name. I love it. What do people think? Do you know any young Nina’s? What type of person does it make you think of? Is it dated/classic/on trend?

Some of these names feel transient on trend to me eg Luna, Nova, Lila, Lola.

Nina to my mind is much more classic due to centuries of use across Russia, Spain etc.

Lila is just overexposed. It is a “classic” name with a long history. It too has centuries of use in the Jewish community.

Nina is a nice name. It was one of my husband’s top picks but unfortunately I had two in my class the year before our baby girl was born. They were both lovely and I actually hope my daughter is exactly like each of them in different ways!

I like it. There's a few Ninas as BBC journalists. Nina Conti as well.

I like Lina as well.

I love it - it's my favourite girls name but I didn't get to use it - it suits all ages in life IMO , easy to spell and suits all types - I haven't come across many in real life despite working with/dealing with the public for many years so I would go for it

I love it. I know one, she’s 16 now. A cool name, easy to spell.

I see it as classic and rather unusual. I like it. It's a strong and feminine name.
