Annie Get Your Gun. Annie is nice as a pet name but not her proper name.

Rose and Kate and much nicer than Rosie and Katie too.

Craftysue · 09/11/2025 21:59

I like Annie. Maybe wait and see if it suits her when she's born - you might come up with something else.
Good luck

Annie is a beautiful name.

Peternell · 10/11/2025 02:04

Annie is lovely, and sounds just right for your family. I also really like Katie and Sophie, but would pick Annie.

EmotionallyWeird · 10/11/2025 17:56

Annie because you love it the most, but if you hadn't said that I would have said either Annie or Katie. I think Sophie is the odd one out in that it's not traditionally the diminutive of anything, it's a slightly more formal sounding name. It's a nice name, but doesn't fit in quite as well with your "house style."

Amelie was the first name I thought of

Wasn't there a surge of Amelies after the film came out on the naughties? Probably didnt hero that I just didn't "get" the film at all.

HugoYorway · 10/11/2025 20:17

Amelie. The film came out in 2001.

828Pax · 10/11/2025 20:21

I love Annie!

Notmyreality · 10/11/2025 20:23

Sally is short for Sarah

Ncforthiscms · 10/11/2025 20:28

Love annie & katie
Really love Georgie

user2848502016 · 10/11/2025 20:31

It’s ok, I prefer Sophie

MorrisonsBitch · 10/11/2025 20:37

I’d go for Sallie or Nancie of you really want to keep the “ie”

DinaofCloud9 · 10/11/2025 21:43

Spelling Sallie and Nancie like this looks silly.

Annie is lovely. Loathe Katie, Sophie meh.

What about Mary?

RuncibleSpoons · 11/11/2025 07:53

I love it, but unless you’re Donald Duck’s nephews, 3 siblings all with names ending ‘ie’ is really not good.

norestforthewickedwitch · 11/11/2025 08:44

I’m an Annie.

I get ‘Annie are you ok’, ‘Annie get your gun’ and ‘Annie I’m not your daddy’ quite a bit but I think that’s a generational thing.

I like Marnie for an ‘ie’ name.

wizzler · 11/11/2025 11:20

Love Annie
also Elvie and Sylvie might work ?
all the names you suggest are pretty

KarriTreeSullivan · 11/11/2025 12:36

Love Annie!

Sophie is a beautiful name but sooooo popular along with Sophia.

How about Janie or Carrie? Just a couple of suggestions
