Jasper or Jude?

Which do you prefer?

finding it hard to pick a middle name that flows well with Jasper so any suggestions welcome 😁

There are thousands of Judes, and it’s not my choice of name. Jasper is lovely, and will be less popular than Jude.

No idea about a middle name, but nobody really uses them both regularly. Thomas?

Jasper. Jude means Jew in German and high school kids can be cruel

Jasper is so awful. Brings to mind a thin guy who likes soy and is very awkward. It really is. Jude is common but ok.

I dislike both.

Jude is Jew in German and Jasper sounds feminine imo, especially when shortened to Jas or Jazzy.

Jasper is currently on my list! I like the nickname Jaz too - it’s a bit quirky but not overly weird.

To me Jasper is a bit posh but in a good classy way, and not overused.

I also like Jude but it feels like a nickname for some reason.

I associate both with dogs, I know a labrador and bulldog with those names. Jasper will be less common in the classroom though.

The middle name doesn't need to flow. Use your father's name or something.

Of the two I picked Jasper.

How about Joshua, Joseph, Jack, James or Jacob?

I don’t like either. I’m sorry. For me Jasper is a dog’s name.

I really hate the name Jasper. It brings to mind a desperation to present as upper class or posh.

I love Jude.

Jude sounds like a nickname for Judith. Very feminine imo

I much much prefer Jude.

Jude suits all classes, whereas Jasper is very upper class wannabe.

There is a reason Jude is currently a lot higher up in the name charts than Jasper.
