Both Emily Elizabeth and Emily Catherine are very classy and timeless.

Emily rose is very common and has been done to death since the 90s/2000s and is starting to feel dated imo. Both are classics of course but the paring is very of an era.

Emily Elizabeth, despite Clifford The Big Red Dog.

Emily Catherine is lovely too.

Emily Rose - a dime a dozen.

My thoughts exactly. No offence to anyone with an Emily Rose because it is still a very pretty name.

Emily Catherine is lovely.

coxesorangepippin · 08/10/2025 02:08

Emily Rose is best

Garamousalata · 08/10/2025 02:12

Emily Rose is beautiful.

Splat92 · 08/10/2025 02:29

Emily Catherine or Emily Rose. I don't feel like Emily Elizabeth flows as well.

JillyGiraffe · 08/10/2025 06:22

Emily Elizabeth or Emily Catherine - whichever past or future queen you like best!

Yamamm · 08/10/2025 06:24

Middle names are mostly used when filling out forms so use the shortest one.

My great grandmother was Emily Elizabeth, which I’ve always loved.
They’re still great names today.

LlynTegid · 08/10/2025 06:58

Emily Catherine of your options. As mentioned on some other threads, I think a middle name should honour an ancestor or loved family member.

funkystars123 · 08/10/2025 07:16

I have an Emily Rose.. Rosemary is my grandmothers name and Rose is my MIL. We chose the middle name for that reason.

Shes 17 and it is a common name but we used it for personal reasons. I think that the point of a middle name!

SardinesOnGingerbread · 08/10/2025 07:17

I think they are all absolutely beautiful names.

ChangeOfNameAujourdhui · 08/10/2025 07:18

All three are lovely choices ❤️

Pemba · 08/10/2025 07:19

Emily Elizabeth just doesn't flow well, too many Es and Ls too close together.

Emily Rose is pretty but like pps say, been done to death. There's even an actress with this name (suppose Rose is her surname).

Emily Catherine would work well, but I'd like to suggest Emily Jane, flows well and really classic. I think Emily Brontë was an Emily Jane.

Or Emily Anne or Emily Grace, also good choices.

DemonsandMosquitoes · 08/10/2025 07:33

Catherine.

DuchessOfNarcissex · 08/10/2025 08:32

Emily Catherine.
Emily Elizabeth has too many repeated sounds.
Rose as a middle name is incredibly dull, Rose is a filler middle name.

VeryViolet · 08/10/2025 08:41

Emily Catherine or, if you don't mind the fact that it's a popular pairing, Emily Rose.

What about Emily Kate?

Moreteaandchocolate · 08/10/2025 18:37

Emily Elizabeth is my favourite

CuppaWhiteTea · 08/10/2025 18:47

They’re all gorgeous

SandyY2K · 08/10/2025 18:53

Rose

FKAT · 08/10/2025 18:56

I like Emily Elizabeth because EE are great initials and because it has a nice iambic rhythm and is more unusual. The other names are lovely too

DSIS is an Emily Victoria if you want another regal option.

Firebird83 · 08/10/2025 19:22

Emily Catherine

Firsttimebabymummy · 08/10/2025 21:36

Emily Elizabeth usmy favourite

Emily Elizabeth will need an enormous red dog trailing around after her!
