Can we use these three names together?

Or will everyone make the connection I've just made?
We already have a James and an Edward and had more or less decided on Henry for DC4 if they’re a boy 😅

Will people make the connection? Does it matter since they’re all quite classic simple names anyway?

Is the unnamed one called Thomas?

lemoncrisp · 29/09/2025 15:22

Good classic names. Thomas tank engine link wouldn't deter me from using all three. Or is there another link I'm missing?

MissScarletInTheBallroom · 29/09/2025 15:22

My first thought was kings.

Nocalmwaters · 29/09/2025 15:23

I thought of kings rather than trains, if that helps. All classic names, I see nothing wrong with it. People will probably think, oh those are good names.

Moreteaandchocolate · 29/09/2025 15:24

MiddleAgedDread · 29/09/2025 15:24

Do they have a sister called Annie?

IsadoraQuagmire · 29/09/2025 15:25

I only thought of kings, don't know any other link.

boysmuminherts · 29/09/2025 15:26

Royal?

DrowningInSyrup · 29/09/2025 15:26

I thought Kings too. The only name that has ever stood out to me is a little boy called Boris. Poor kid.

midlifeattheoasis · 29/09/2025 15:26

I thought kings as well

No the unnamed one is a girl, just thought it would be marginally less outing without her name. Thomas the tank engine is exactly what I’d thought of though 😅

I hadn’t thought of kings, I don’t mind that since historical kings and not current monarchy

I am hoping your daughter is named Annie or Clarabelle

editing to add I also thought of Kings

CharlieKirkRIP · 29/09/2025 15:36

Lovely names.

Treeleaf11 · 29/09/2025 15:37

I thought of kings too.

Arlanymor · 29/09/2025 15:39

I thought of kings.

DonaldBiden · 29/09/2025 15:50

I thought of kings too dw only toddlers remember all the names of the tank engines

Pinkelephant66 · 29/09/2025 15:58

Does your partner look like the fat controller?

IneedtheeohIneedtheeeveryhourIneedthee · 29/09/2025 16:04

Great names.
It doesn't matter OP. One day they may live thousands of miles away from each other and nobody will make the connection.

BoleynMemories13 · 29/09/2025 16:16

It's not unusable. They're great classic names (which just so happen to also be tank engines and kings!).

People may make to connection but in a jokey light-hearted way, not in an omg I can't believe you would do that way.

itsgettingweird · 29/09/2025 16:41

Kings here too.

And my ds was a huge Thomas fan and is actually called Thomas!!!

user2848502016 · 29/09/2025 16:56

No they’re just nice classic names

GoldenPineapple15 · 29/09/2025 16:59

Not a problem. My son was a massive Thomas the Tank Engine fan . He is now 10 and can’t remember anyone except Thomas . Lovely names .

BeMintFatball · 29/09/2025 17:10

All classic names. When they are adults it will be rare that they all together outside of family occasions so no one will make the connection.

My son is 4 and is currently going through a massive Thomas the Tank Engine phase and even then my first thought was kings.

BettyTurpinPies · 29/09/2025 17:13

The girl is Thomasina, isn't she.
