Would the name Miles be weird?

So I love the name Miles but my surname is South - would it sound too ‘directional’ or am I overthinking it?

Milo sounds better. The s at the end of Miles and the beginning of South make it sound funny to me, they run together. The direction part doesn't matter so much to me.
