Anyone working within a nursery setting or attending baby groups.
please share which boy names are loved at the moment and are popular.
popularity is not a problem to me as it shows names are well liked.
TIA

It will be very area dependent. Currently around me, the most popular names I hear on baby/toddler boys are Jude, Arlo and Teddy.

At primary age, Noah, Oscar, Archie and Oliver are all big.

Freddie by a mile - Fred, Frederick, Freddie. Absolutely rife.

Two Harrisons at DD’s nursery too weirdly

Arlo

Other than that there don’t seem to be that many repeats actually.

Just look up the ONS list of baby names born in 2022 and 2023!

Popular names are rarely objectively nice, rather they are fashionable for a while until they fall out of fashion again.

Personally I prefer less popular and more timeless names.

DarcMode · 03/06/2025 17:20

I'll add Seb and Felix to mine as well. Felix would really have suited one of mine, but I didn't love it enough. He would've been the third in his year!
