What are your thoughts? I feel like we’ve considered every name possible at this stage 😂 DH and I finally agree that we both kind of like it. What do you imagine with this name? Sister is Isla. Thanks!

I like it. My first association is Annabelle the doll but that's because I'm a horror junkie. It works for a little girl and an adult woman.

Annabel is a beautiful name. I know an Annabel who is a very classy, kind and beautiful person inside and out.

It just reminds me of the creepy doll, sorry! If you like it go for it but that connotation would put me off

It's really nice. I prefer the spelling you chose too. (Annabelle is a bit frilly imo).
It also gives her options for the future of Anna, Bel, Bella, even Annie I suppose.

I love it…. My daughter is called it! But spelt the long way, we call her Belle though x

I don’t know any! It’s such a familiar name but I haven’t heard of many for some reason!

I love it. Expecting a girl in July and we love the name Anna but can't use it. We pondered whether Annabel was too close to Anna and decided it was so we can't use it either but it would be on the shortlist otherwise. Classic but not old fashioned and not too popular either.

I love it. It's a name that has always been around but has never been all that common, so it won't date her.

I like it. I prefer that spelling. And as pps have said, lots of options for shortening if she chooses. Nan, Anna, Bel, Bella....

I like it but then my niece is Annabella. I wasn’t a fan at first but it grew on me quickly!

There are lots of short forms - Bella, Annie, Nancy - if she wants that
