My dh and I have wildly differing opinions on how this name will be perceived by others. Could you tell me what you think of it?

How about Indira as an alternative?

Betty, I went to school with a girl whose middle name was Studebaker for that reason

I find it tired and a bit poncy.

I like it, I think it has "citizen of the world" connotations, so more hippy-ish I guess.
