Blanchette sounds too much like planchette.

Riversof0tter5 · 10/04/2025 09:29

Let's Oubliette

Rubyliette sounds rather captivating.

Sounds like something David Bowie had in his hands in Labyrinth.

Coralette is a real name

It sounds like an accountancy software program to me.

user2848502016 · 10/04/2025 09:34

I think Rosett (or Rosetta?) is the best one. Jett, Garnett or Blanchett could work too

IfYouPutASausageInItItsNotAViennetta · 10/04/2025 09:36

Olivette? Bit close to Oubliette, but that might work.

It just makes me think of the old typewriter company.

Regrette

You win!

Mumsnette or
Orangette

Just pick any colour and stick ‘ette’ on the end!

my favourite- what shade is Mumsnette? I’m thinking mousy brown or bright red with turquoise streaks - can’t decide

anotherside · 10/04/2025 09:43

Cutlet
Conneticut
Clarinet
Floret
Marionette
Crumpet
Cassette

Puce with fumming rage at everything.

Chungai · 10/04/2025 09:53

This is funny.

The best I can think of is

Ambrette - Amber bring the colour.

I do like Jett as well.

EnjoythemoneyJane · 10/04/2025 09:54

Doitrightnow · 10/04/2025 00:40

How do you feel about browns?

Walnette
Hazelnette
Peanette
Chocolette
Brunette
Noisette

Edited

Peanette? 😂

This thread is even funnier than than the ick one - literally cry laughing at some of these

Avatartar · 10/04/2025 09:55

Am late to the thread, if you like orange, are musical and live in the US you may consider
Trumpette

viques · 10/04/2025 09:55

Blanket. (Worked for Michael Jackson)

Bluette, it works though I don’t think being called after a bristly herb would do the child any favours.

viques · 10/04/2025 09:59

MadinMarch · 10/04/2025 03:58

Debette Card too!

If the OP is awfully posh the child could be Debrette

Wow, so many mums happy to laugh at and be unkind to a pregnant mum over night, I hope you all wake up and reflect if you’d speak to a pregnant woman in person like this today. Scarlett and Violet are beautiful names, I’m going to assume op added the t to Violett to link with her sister which is a lovely thing to do, clearly family bonds and stories are important to op.
As suggestions, I think you could go with :
Garnett
Jett
Russett
All lovely colours and a shared li k with her sisters .

I don't think anyone was intending to upsette the OP- it really wasn't meant as something personal, it just took on an unexpected twist.
Can you not see the humour in it?

Member968405 · 10/04/2025 10:02

Mignonette is sweet - just means ‘sweet, cute’

Purplebunnie · 10/04/2025 10:05

Margarette is an actual name and means Pearl - if this is a serious quandary then this is the nearest you are going to get

Mignonette which I have just seen above is a flower

BringBackVanillaIceCreamMonsterMunch · 10/04/2025 10:08

Hazelette

MadinMarch · 10/04/2025 10:09

Let’s carry on….. DeadSalmonette

Fishnette as a middle name possibly?

Also has shades of brown to it if you're caught unawares. Very pretty.

I might be wrong but I’d hazard a guess that as the OP hasn’t been back, they started this thread purely for the entertainment factor and to receive the replies that have been put forward.
It’s an anonymous forum and so if it is real, I can’t imagine the OP would be too bothered by the suggestions because some of them have been very funny!

Moullette is very pretty too; or maybe Hallibutte.

Marcipix · 10/04/2025 10:19

Fauvette
it means ‘little fawn’ so a pretty meaning and coincidentally also a colour.
