We have a Charlotte (Lottie) and I’m torn between these three

Cassandra (would be Cassie)
Philippa (Pippa)
Imogen (Immy)

please help me pick!

I don’t like Immy as it’s very twee. But I love Cassie and Pippa. Cassandra will forever remind me of Rodney’s partner in Only Fools and Horses Grin

LlynTegid · 27/03/2025 21:44

I'd choose Imogen of the three.

VibeShift · 27/03/2025 21:44

Philippa but be prepared for mispellings.

SkaneTos · 27/03/2025 21:44

They are all good names!

My favourite is Imogen.

P0mbears · 27/03/2025 21:47

Love Philippa and Pippa and Lottie are lovely together

ThisUniqueDreamer · 27/03/2025 21:48

Imogen

YourAmberFawn · 27/03/2025 21:50

imogen - the other two feel a bit stuffy to me.

I like Imogen though, I know one and she’s a lovely, smart little girl.

Nevertrustacop · 27/03/2025 21:51

Imogen

nonmerci99 · 27/03/2025 21:52

I love Imogen, but not a big fan of Immy. Based on the nicknames and how they sound together, I’d vote for Phillipa/Philippa.

Heebeebee · 27/03/2025 21:53

Cassandra! I'm a Dragon Age fan and she was a strong female!

jsku · 27/03/2025 22:05

Call her Cassie, if you like the name.
but Cassandra - is a historical name with a deep and unhappy connotation.
Immy - can work for a toddler, but not beyond.

if you use Philippa - she’ll spend her life spelling out her name.

Moreteaandchocolate · 27/03/2025 22:08

Imogen is my favourite (& I love Immy). Philippa is gorgeous too (also love Pippa). Cassandra isn’t my favourite but I do like Cassie.

Scutterbug · 27/03/2025 22:09

Imogen. I’m not a fan of Philippa although I do like Pippa. Same with Cassandra, don’t like the full name but quite like Cassie!

Pppzzz · 27/03/2025 22:11

NC for obvious reasons!

I have an Imogen and a Cassie! So just wanted to compliment you on your name choices 😁

Jamclag · 27/03/2025 22:15

Cassandra! Even with the Greek tragedy element it's a fab name. Cassie is nice as a short form - Andie or Annie are sweet too.

TheeNotoriousPIG · 27/03/2025 22:16

Cassandra has the best nickname of the three options, so if that's what she'll be known by on a daily basis, that wins my vote!

Fagli · 27/03/2025 22:16

They are very 80s names (like Claire, Julia, Sarah), so I think any would be fine as they seem to go together. Cassandra is always going to remind me of Only Fools and Horses (and I wasn’t even in the era for that!). Be prepared for your nickname for your children not being what others use. The Philippas I know are all called Phil!

Mistyglade · 27/03/2025 22:17

Philippa. Every one I’ve met has been a darling.

evtheria · 27/03/2025 22:24

I really like all your full-name options, they’re pretty but strong!

I think Imogen sounds best with Charlotte - though wonder if it really matters that siblings’ names go together…? Do people not just say ‘the kids’ or ‘our daughters’?
Never heard anyone use Immy for Imogen before. If you’re def using that then I’d go for Philippa, as “Lottie and Immy” sounds very twee, in my opinion as a stranger on the internet!

LilyJosephine · 27/03/2025 22:27

I don’t like same initials for same sex siblings as post can be a pain so that leaves Cassandra out (plus while lovely it’s quite a different style to Charlotte imo).

Between Philippa and Imogen, I think overall I’d pick Imogen. Philippa is a more royal/historical combo with Charlotte - but although it sounds a bit silly, I like that Charlotte and Imogen are both still popular classics (imo its nice that they’ll fit in with their peers and can easily get stuff in the shops with their names on). Philippa is a classic too but I personally don’t know any under 40.

DramaAlpaca · 27/03/2025 22:36

Philippa is lovely with Charlotte.

Ellmau · 27/03/2025 22:37

I think Imogen works best with Charlotte.

SayithowitisYorkie · 27/03/2025 22:39

I love Cassandra but I am a Jane Austen fan.
