Baby is due in May and we are trying to finalise our girls list...

Which would you pick?

Edie - my top currently. Think it's classy and pretty and still not too popular.

Connie

Marcie - slightly different but is it one of those trendy / modern names that will fade ?

Isabella - Bella as nn. Worried she would end up Izzy though which I'm not keen on.

Clara - like as an adult but can't really imagine as a baby / toddler?

Sadie

Isabella

There is an Edie or Edith or both in every year at my kids school. Likewise so many Bellas. I love Connie, much less popular.

I like Clara!

Sadie

I would go with Clara or Marceline, with Marcie as a nickname, or Edith with Edue as a nickname.

Clara or Sadie

Clara and Marcie are my favourites.

Edie just sounds like it should be short for Edith and Isabella is so overused.

Clara is by far my favourite of your names. Gorgeous at any age. Edie is very 'now' so if you don't want a name to date don't go for that. Isabella is too fussy for me and will also date as any insanely popular name does. Isobel is much classier and not hugely popular so won't date in the same way. Connie is nice but I would use Constance to give DD options as she grew up.

Clara by a mile. It’s the name of the girl in the Nutcracker ballet.

Clara
Marcia

Marcella
Claire
Edwina

It’s such a personal choice and when you see your baby girl you’ll k right away what to name her. It’s really that easy. All those names floating around your head becomes not important. The moment is what’s important

I love Clara and Sadie, but find that Sadie is becoming quite popular, so if that bothers you, I think Clara is your best option.

@TheMummyJade the statistics show that it's the other way round
Babies called Sadie in England & Wales since 1996
