If you gave birth today (hypothetically) what do you think you would name your baby?

I think if I had a girl she would be Monroe and boy would be Atlas

Astrid baby girl
Shiloh baby boy

Beatrice for a girl
Conor for a boy

Girl would be Célestine or Séraphine. Boy would be Alexander or Markus.

Atlas is 😳😳😳 and Monroe isn’t much better.

Boy - Alexander or Lewis
Girl - Emma or Lauren

TTC now so we'll see if that's what we'll go for. Me and DH have been discussing names for donkeys years in prep for this

Atlas sounds nice though I don't like the association with having the heavens on your shoulders.

My boy would be called Magnus and my girl would be called Hera or Athena or Minerva.

Same as I called them 30 odd years ago. Classic names, not boring and not overly common.

Not that I particularly like Atlas but I’d much rather have an interesting and memorable name than a boring overused classic. My surname is boring enough

Sorry but forgetting to find where people’s opinions on the name were asked? OP asked what you would call a baby if you had one today. I know a handful of little boys called Atlas and they are all lovely boys! It’s a Greek mythological name just because you haven’t heard of it doesn’t automatically mean it’s a bad name.
