Pregnant with #2

With my first we knew what their name would be straight away (named after grandparent) but this time round I just don’t know!

Current contenders are:
Benedict
Matthew
Roman
Ronan
Thomas

Open to suggestions, all the suggestions ☺️

Unless you have a rare surname, i wouldn't use a common name like Thomas - there will be lots with the same name otherwise!

Benedict - fabulous! I’d be excited to meet one. But I do imagine a man named Benedict might be quite eccentric. Not a bad thing, of course.

Matthew - lovely. Never met a bad Matthew, they’ve all been decent, gentle types.

Roman - I really like it, strong and masculine. But it has suddenly become terribly popular if that bothers you.

Ronan - not so keen.

Thomas - often very handsome, I’ve noticed.

l met a little Orlando recently. I thought that was pretty spectacular. I suggested Zebedee for our DS but was told firmly no, but I still love it.

I literally don’t know a single Thomas who is under 30 years old 😂
Last name isn’t unusual, fairly Scottish, but I can’t think of anyone else with it either.

I’m sorry I’m not a fan of any of your names.

you mention a Scottish surname, what about a Scottish first name, such as, Fraser, Ruairidh, Angus, Fergus , Lachlan, Cameron, Callum, Bryce.

not all names I like but a few Scottish names I can think of,

I don’t like “Scottish” names in general. Although Fergus is one I do like.
