Baby girl Skye or Violet

Just found out we’ll be having a third baby girl in the summer 2025. We already have an Ivy and Amelie. What are peoples thoughts on the names either Skye or Violet? Or any alternatives that’s go with our other daughters names? I love Skye but haven’t had the best reaction to it when discussing with others.

If I were Ivy, I'd be jealous of the name Skye. I think Violet goes better.

I much prefer Violet, a classic to me.
Skye is a bit down market where I am, plus I know a few dogs called Skye which would also put me off.

When I see Skye, it makes me think of the Paw Patrol pup!

Skye is up with double barrelled first names for me quite chavvy

I think either goes with your existing girls names. Neither is my cup of tea personally but I think they are both pretty names with character. Skye is perhaps a bit more marmite, but if you love it, then use it.

Violet goes well with the others. Not keen on Skye.
