I'd go for Honor because it's a bit more unusual.

Nettleteaser101 · 16/11/2024 05:27

Thanks. It is lovely.

Honor Grace

Moreteaandchocolate · 16/11/2024 06:19

Grace is my favourite 🤩 Honor sounds a bit old fashioned/ preachy to me!

SoporificLettuce · 16/11/2024 06:21

Grace

DustyLee123 · 16/11/2024 06:21

Grace is nicer

LilacLilyBird · 16/11/2024 06:22

Honor sounds cold

LilacLilyBird · 16/11/2024 06:22

Grace is a more personable name

sel2223 · 16/11/2024 06:23

Just to throw another name in the mix, I know a little girl called Mercy. Not something I would ever have thought of but she's gorgeous and the name is absolutely perfect on her

Viviennemary · 16/11/2024 06:23

I prefer Grace. Don't like Honor at all.

GoodVibesHere · 16/11/2024 06:24

Grace

For the first name, choose the one that sounds the best when said aloud with the surname. Both are lovely names.

If they sound equally fine, my favourite is ..
Grace Honor
or Grace Honora.

Same!

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 16/11/2024 07:22

Grace is better but I'm always wary of these types of names. What if the child isn't in the slightest bit Graceful? I know a Grace that clomps around and definitely doesn't suit her name 🤣

Nicebloomers · 16/11/2024 07:44

Honor. So pretty and underused.

Atishooo · 16/11/2024 09:47

Honor, because Grace is so overused as a middle (mainly) and first name.

BoleynMemories13 · 16/11/2024 12:10

100% definitely Grace.

Grace is very mainstream, it could be seen as religious but it's not solely so. Honor, on the other hand, is very preachy.

It makes me think of Honor Blackman 'pussy galore' not preachy or religious haha

KirstenBlest · 16/11/2024 12:25

Honor, but not if the surname is/sounds like a noun (e.g. Field, Hill, Moore)

Don't use Grace as a middle name as it's overused and both are virtue names.

miniaturepixieonacid · 17/11/2024 08:59

I like Grace better but Honor is more unusual and Honor Grace flows better than Grace Honor.

Not helpful, I know!

pixie12 · 17/11/2024 17:38

I prefer Honor

mrspresents · 17/11/2024 18:02

I prefer Honor Grace. Way to many Graces' around now!

Mebebecat · 17/11/2024 18:04

Honor, but as above, I also know a brilliant Mercy

RuthW · 17/11/2024 18:04

Honor

Sunplanner · 17/11/2024 18:11

Honor sounds a little fresher . Grace has been very popular for the last 20 years, so when she's an adult she may have a 'middle-aged' name. I aso know a Hope. It looks short and plain written down, but nicer spoken and really suited the person from child to teen to adult.
