This. It brings back memories of the idiots back in my day who used to spend £50 on a beat up nova, and then save up thousands to put a body kit and a stupid exhaust on it. And then wrap it around a tree or an unfortunate badger 😂

The Vauxhall Nova was launched in 1982. Nova was hardly used as a girl's name until about 2000.

I know one adult Nova who is much older than the car, and one primary school-age one. Both have heritage from other nationalities.
