Baby girl Ava, Isabel, or Vivienne?

We’re getting awfully close to our baby’s due date and I’m still batting around names - help!

Here are the names that have stuck from our original list. Does anyone have a favorite with our last name? Any advice or associations for this group? Many many thanks!

Ava Campbell (nn: Ave/ Avie)
Isabel Campbell (nn: Izzie)
Vivienne Campbell (nn: Vivi)

Note: I’ve been calling her Ava for a while but worry it’s too popular / trendy and she’ll be one of many in her school or class. We live in the midwest US where Ava is ranked #8. My heart is saying Ava Elizabeth (family name) or Ava Josephine but my head is interfering…

Vivienne

Vivienne. A absolutely love the name and think it's very classy!

I love Vivienne! You don't see it very often, but it sounds so classy and stylish. Vivi is a really cute nn, too.

Ava is the best, it's a beautiful name and as the PP said, popular for good reason. It goes well with your surname too. I wouldn't plan to shorten it though to Ave or Avie, it's short and sweet enough as it is. A nickname might evolve as you get to know her.

I like Isabel (Izzy) best.

i have a cousin Vivienne & I love her to bits, but not the name. I've only met one other, she's much younger & quite edgy but don't like the name & doesn't suit her 'look'

Ava Elizabeth is lovely, but unfortunately I don't like how overused it is.

Ava Elizabeth Campbell is really nice. I'd go with that and not worry about popularity, it's popular because it's lovely.

I don't like Ava at all.
Isabel is a classic but there are lots of Isabelles an Isabellas.
Vivienne is OK but is it Vivvy-enne pr Viv-yen? Not keen on Vivi or the inevitable Viv. Prefer Vivien.

Isabel/Izzy Campbell is fine

I don’t like Vivienne at all. Ava and Isobel are massively popular, I prefer Isobel out of the two.

Vivienne is very vivacious - more lively than the other two

I like Ava and Isabel but there are 70 million of them, plus all the Eve, Eva, Isabellas and Annabels - it just gets so dull

What about Viviana ?

I think all 3 are beautiful (and biased, as we have one, albeit with a different spelling).

What about Avery it's similar and can be shortened to Ave

Funnily enough I had a conversation with my daughter Ava this week and she said she wished she was called Vivienne. I love Vivienne and you won’t find as many in classes.

If you're worried about popularity don't pick Isabel, if you put all the different spellings of the name plus Isabella, Bella, Izzy etc, it would top the popularity polls.

Personally I'm not a big fan of Vivienne, particularly the nn Vivi

Ava or isabel are lovely names.
Don't like Vivienne at all. I find it quite harsh sounding.
The only Vivienne I know hates her name and goes by Viv. Though she's not mad on that either but says it's better than Vivienne.

I'm in the US midwest, and honestly, you couldn't throw a brick in a school playground without hitting an Ava or a Vivienne.

Isabel would be far less common than Isabella, and imo is a nicer name. I'd easily pick Isabel over Ava or Vivienne.
