Louis Langley

Yes or no? I love Louis but unsure with our surname.

I think it flows well, actually.

CornflowerSky · 27/08/2024 20:35

It sounds great!

Comedycook · 27/08/2024 20:35

It's cute

hereismydog · 27/08/2024 20:35

Oh I like it!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 27/08/2024 20:36

Perfect

TheLittleOldWomanWhoShrinks · 27/08/2024 20:38

Sounds a bit like a superhero's ordinary-person name in a film. You can like that or not. I like it.

AlwaysKindaKnewYoudBeTheDeathOfMe · 27/08/2024 20:42

I really really dislike the name Louis, but alliteratively I quite like the combo.

Iamthemoom · 27/08/2024 20:43

Love it!

Marketplacevirgin · 27/08/2024 20:51

Is it Lewis or Lewee?

Same!

Great name...

Firsttimebabymummy · 27/08/2024 20:54

I like it!

sel2223 · 27/08/2024 21:00

Ah I love the name Louis.

Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of the double initials thing as I find it a bit twee.
It's just a personal thing of mine.

If you like the name, go for it

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 27/08/2024 21:06

I really like it, I love alliterative names

ComealongMartha · 27/08/2024 21:08

Another who’s not keen on Louis but thinks that it works well with your surname.

MrsFMLx · 27/08/2024 21:24

Thank you all so much 😊

Sounds really good

RuthW · 27/08/2024 21:36

Lewis goes but I Louis is hard to say with your surname.

diggermama · 27/08/2024 21:37

It's really lovely OP, go for it! My youngest's name is alliterative. Zero regrets

Didshejustsaythatoutloud · 27/08/2024 21:41

Like it😀it's better than the old people's names that have become so popular.
Edith
Alice
Ethel 🙄
Albert😁

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 27/08/2024 22:44

Love alliterative names a lot (DS has one!) but I’m not sure about having the repeated “ee” end sound as well. Lewis or Luke or Lucas Langley sounds great, Louie Langley is a bit tongue twisty to me personally.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 27/08/2024 22:46

It would definitely be super memorable though, so maybe I just need to keep saying it to get my tongue around all those L’s and E’s!

Needmorelego · 27/08/2024 22:49

Is it "Lewis" or "Lou-ee".
"Lou-ee" makes it a bit more tongue twistery.

Monkeysatonthewall · 27/08/2024 22:49

Love it

MerryMarys · 27/08/2024 22:51

Lou-is Langley works well

But Louie Langley sounds twee as both end in -ee
