Thank you all so much, leaning to Elizabeth Christina (lily as a potential nickname) Elizabeth was my grandmothers name so would be very fitting.
I am very keen on Anna and Esmay also, some wonderful suggestions from you all. Thank you again!

She'll probably be a Lizzie, not Lily. Although you could use Lily as her legal first name. Lily looks and sounds nice with Christina and also goes with her sisters' names. Edited to add all I could remember was Ruby. Lily might get mistaken for Lydia. Go for Elizabeth/Lizzie.

Well she’ll be called Lily if they use that from the start

Maria Christina.

My daughter is Lucy Christina. I think it goes with most names that's aren't too similar sounding.

Chloe Christina

KirstenBlest · 22/08/2024 07:12

Chloe Christina sounds phlegmy.

Chloe Christina sounds phlegmy.

My Christina is known as Nina.
Chris or Tina got nipped in the bud straight away and it wasn't a problem. It was always her full name until a younger relative couldn't pronounce Christina so she mainly gets called Nina.

MrsDrDear · 22/08/2024 07:34

Sorry no idea why I quoted previous post.

KirstenBlest · 22/08/2024 07:48

Grin. I like Nina. Chloe is OK but I know so many (all seem to be 'Chlo') and it seems too 'around 2000'

junebirthdaygirl · 22/08/2024 08:35

I would focus on the first name to go with your other two girls as that will be the main one. Her second name is a little bond with her grandma that will always be lovely between them.
Florence Christina
Honor Christina
I know a lady in her 70s called Christina and l have never heard her called anything else..l wouldn't dream of shortening it and no one else seems to.

Hello Lovely people, we are getting close (35 weeks!) so my partner has his heart set on Amelia for a first name. I like it but much more keen on the spelling Emilia. I like the nicknames Millie and Emmy, any other nicknames that spring to mind?

Whats the general consensus?

Does it go with siblings Lydia and Ruby and what’s the thoughts on Christina as a middle name still?

thanks in advance ☺️

Amelia could be Mel or Amy. What's your surname? Her initials would be A.C. something or E.C. something. Maybe reconsider if your surname starts with H, K, or T.

HoHoHoliday · 04/10/2024 01:23

Amelia Christina sounds lovely, as does the sibling set Lydia, Ruby, Amelia.

I know two Amelias. One has the nickname Amy and the other is nicknamed Mia.

Amelia, Amelie, Amy, Emilia, Emily, Emma, Mia, Milly - all on a theme and all work well with your chosen middle name.

GrampianGirl · 04/10/2024 01:36

Christina is a fabulous name.

You don't need to match it with the first name though.practically noone uses both names at once in normal life. So as long as that don't sound silly together just choose the name you like the most for the first name even if it's a different vibe.

mathanxiety · 04/10/2024 03:16

Emilia goes really well with Lydia and Ruby.

Millie and Emmy would be nice diminutives, and both would be nice with the other names too.

shoopshoopdedoo · 04/10/2024 05:46

I like Amelia - think it is lovely with your other names, and I much prefer it to Emilia.

MayaPinion · 04/10/2024 05:51

I would use Christina and shorten it to Christa or Christy. If it’s going to be shortened either of those are lovely.

Amelia is nice but if you spell it as Emilia, people will be forever calling her Emily.

I'd go for Milly or Emily if you like the nicknames Milly and Emmy. Or Amelia.

GoodVibesHere · 04/10/2024 06:59

Amelia Christina is lovely. You could use nickname Lia.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 04/10/2024 07:10

Amelia Christina is a but singsongy, but you might like that.

CurlewKate · 04/10/2024 07:11
