None.
I don't mean that to sound harsh but it's not something I'd call my children.
I just don't understand why people are trying so hard to have out there names for their kids when they sound bizzare

Meadowwild · 02/08/2024 15:00

From that list: Inigo and Ozias

Hale and Gray sounds like a Seventies cop show that never quite made it to prime time and Emeric is too close to emetic which means vomit-inducing. The others are just wild, which is fine if you want wild. But I genuinely like Inigo and Ozias works with it

TomatoSandwiches · 02/08/2024 15:01

Hart & Gable

Theoldwoman · 02/08/2024 15:02

None.

TomatoSandwiches · 02/08/2024 15:02

Eben & Ivo

AGreatUsername · 02/08/2024 15:03

Eben, Ivo and Gray are the only names on there I could contemplate. Sorry but some of those are just begging for the kid to be teased. Penny? Really?

Chika89 · 02/08/2024 15:04

None of them, they’re absolutely awful. Penny!?

WaltzingWaters · 02/08/2024 15:05

I have to agree with this. Those are the only names I’d consider.
Please, oh please, do not call a boy Penny. It’s bad enough on a girl but definitely not a boy.

ThePoshUns · 02/08/2024 15:07

Penny for a boy?
Sorry but not keen on most of those , it looks like you can't spell ie Eben do you mean Eden?

Firsttimebabymummy · 02/08/2024 15:09

None

ThePoshUns · 02/08/2024 15:11

Caledon and Tennyson - Caledon
Sounds like a vegetable
Emeric and Omri Emeric sounds like a medical intervention
Eben and Gable Eden and Gabriel would be better
Hart and Ivo
Penny and Roscoe sound like you watched too many episodes of the Dukes of Hazard
Inigo and Ozias
Hale and Gray sounds like a hardware brand

BluebirdBoogie · 02/08/2024 15:12

Not a fan of any of them apart from Ivo. Why on earth would you call a boy Penny?

KirstenBlest · 02/08/2024 15:44

Eben or Roscoe and Ivo

Olympicfatigued · 02/08/2024 15:45

Please don’t use these names. Your poor boys.

pamshortsbrokenbothherlegs · 02/08/2024 15:48

I have twin boys, it is tough.

Of those we considered Ivo and Inigo (not together).

I like Eben and Ivo as a pp suggested, and Inigo and Grey. The rest are a tad fanciful imo.

Relaxd · 02/08/2024 15:56

Sorry, not particularly keen. They sound overly fanciful as others have said, I assume to make you feel like you sound unusual or creative but that sadly isn’t how it comes across. Unless there is some deep connection to any of them, I’d look for something lower risk. I’m guessing perhaps this is a joke post. In which case, hahaha good one.

I like Hart and Ivo and Penny and Roscoe

my choices would actually be Tennyson, Roscoe, Hart or Inigo

KirstenBlest · 02/08/2024 16:05

OK: Omri, Eben, Ivo, Roscoe, Inigo
Not keen: Ozias, Emeric, Gray
Dreadful: Caledon, Tennyson, Gable, Hart, Penny (nice for a girl), Hale

Mumofgirls2017 · 02/08/2024 16:21

Hart and Ivo
inigo and Ozias

Notanewbee · 02/08/2024 17:05

Bloody hell.

goneveryquiet · 02/08/2024 19:42

I like Eben and Ivo

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 02/08/2024 19:54

You can’t call a boy Penny.
To mix them up Roscoe and Ozias are okay

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 02/08/2024 22:29

Ivo, Inigo, Gray, Roscoe, Ozias, Omri and Eben are uncommon but at least known as forenames - and I personally quite like them, especially the first two.

So my favourite as a pair would be Inigo and Ozias.

I also think as using surnames for forenames is trendy now, you can probably get away with Caledon and Tennyson or Hale and Gray - even though that trend isn’t my cup of tea personally.

But as others have said please don’t use Penny for a boy, it would be unfair to him and Gable sadly might cause teasing too (“Gay Boy”) as it’s much more uncommon than Gabriel. Hart will also likely get called Fart and I’m afraid Emeric sounds medical to me, even though I’m aware it’s a name used in other countries (similar style Alaric is nice though?).

KirstenBlest · 02/08/2024 22:35

Emerick seems a better spelling but I'm only familiar of it from the actor Louis Emerick. Louis Emerick - Wikipedia

Justrolledmyeyesoutloud · 02/08/2024 22:38

So many oppprtunties for a great pairing of names, but none on your list. Sorry op don't like any of them
