Gabriella or Cordelia?

Which name do you think sounds better?

I think they're both fussy, but prefer Gabriella.

I know a Cordelia who gets called Cordy and I think it's awful!

Gabriella is so much nicer than Cordelia

I think Gabriella is a bit more unusual these days, and shortens to Gabi, which is cute.

Not keen on either one. I used to work with a Cordelia she hated it and everyone called her Dee instead which she loved .

Gabrielle seems 1970s, and -ella names are everywhere. Also Gabriella is long and will be Gaby or Ella.

I like both - both of them were on my shortlist. If the two, I’d choose Gabriella.

Gabriella becomes Gabby. I’ve known several over the years, it’s a shame because it’s nowhere near as nice.

I think Cordelia is pretentious personally but I think that about lots of names here so I’m probably out of touch.
