Jennifer has just popped into my head. What do you think? Too dated? Not keen on the shortenings, but think Jennifer is beautiful.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I love the name, but it’s the name of my favourite godmother so I may be biased.

wizzler · 15/06/2024 22:41

Love it. Also Genevieve

greengreyblue · 15/06/2024 22:41

I like it. It’s nice to hear and say.

I loved Genesis when there was a character with that name on Emmedale!

PithyLion · 15/06/2024 22:43

nice, also it s original Guinevere is worth considering if you want to avoid shortenings

KohlaParasaurus · 15/06/2024 22:43

Yes, it's a lovely name.

Moveoverdarlin · 15/06/2024 22:43

Love it.

Watchthedoormat · 15/06/2024 22:44

Lovely

pontipinemum · 15/06/2024 22:44

Lovely name it was the name I used in most of my stories as child.

@PithyLion plenty of options to shorten Guinevere that I've heard anyway

YourOldAirPurifier · 15/06/2024 22:45

It’s a lovely name.

SushiSushi · 15/06/2024 22:45

Lovely name. Also like Jen and Jenny as diminutives

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 15/06/2024 22:52

I know multiple Jennifer’s ( admittedly all 40 plus) and I think it’s a gorgeous traditional name which is underused now. But they are all known as Jen or Jenny. I think you would be on a losing battle with that.

Sleepnplay · 15/06/2024 22:55

Really love it

of course, but Jenny is less likely and that is what the OP doesn't want, I think

Moreteaandchocolate · 15/06/2024 23:03

Cute name. Very nice! Due a revival! Smile

FizzyPiglet · 15/06/2024 23:06

I'm one of the millions of late 70's Jennifer's & appreciate the love!

When I was little I was Jenny.
At work I am Jennifer.
To my friends I am Jen.

I like how it adapts to different situations!

OVienna · 16/06/2024 00:32

Love it.

Latenighttelly · 16/06/2024 00:36

I'm a 1960's Jennifer and whilst I never use the long version I like being Jenny and even more prefer Jen. Glad I like my name tbh.

Berlinlover · 16/06/2024 00:39

It’s a beautiful name, I love it.

Peonii · 16/06/2024 00:46

I prefer Ginnifer.

I used to know a really narcissistic shit stirrer called Jennifer so it's been somewhat tainted for me.

Violet17 · 16/06/2024 00:56

yes I like it

BedBathAndBeyonce · 16/06/2024 01:04

I love it. My sister’s name. She has always adored her own name (even as a teen).

SnowFrogJelly · 16/06/2024 01:12

Lovely
