Is it a bit 'Alfie', or is it in a different league?

We are still very keen on Finlay, and I really like Theo and Louis but hubby is keen to keep it Scottish.

Oh, and what would you favour - Finlay or Archie?

Thank you again!

Hi everyone I have a DGD who is called Finlay and its a beautiful name for a girl, she is eight years old and until now I haven't met or heard of an other female with this name.

Really don't like Scottish names, sorry. Archie reminds me of Balamory and Finlay of a horribly pretentious kid at DS's school.

an almost aunty of mine had a guinniepig (how do you spell that????) called Archie...
not my cup of tea...think Finlay is just lovely though

Hi everyone, Archie & Finlay are good but both becoming quite common. Have you considered Innes, I've only heard of 1 Innes, a New Zealander of Scottish descent. Quite cool? I think I like it

Archie is a great name and I will be calling my baby that if a boy! It is the name we decided upon straight away, no contest both myself and husband have loved it from the beginning! it's Georgie if a girl, which we love too.

Archie was one of my favourites until Balamory still like it but don't think that I could use it now because of that.

I really don't like Archie, sorry. Some of them seem like old man names.
