Girl name to go with Rosalie and Cecilia?

Just as the title says, struggling for a girl name to go with Rosalie and Cecilia. Was thinking Sylvie, but I think it's one of those names that I like on other people's children but wouldn't use for my own. Really like Josie, but not Josephine, but regardless I think it's too much since Rosalie gets Rosie sometimes.

Also like Betty, and I would use Elizabeth to get it but unfortunately a good friends DD is Betty, so I don't want to. Other ideas were Daphne and Delilah, but I just don't love either. Love Lucy, but I don't think it holds up with Rosalie and Cecilia unfortunately.

All suggestions welcome, TIA!

PS - Going to move to America, so the name needs to hold up there although I can't think of many that wouldn't

Emilia.

AmberGuide · 03/06/2024 02:25

Love Elodie! I was thinking Eloise with nn Elsie, which I think is similar. Do you think Eloise or Eloisa is nicer? Juliet is lovely as well, as is Jasmine.

Omg I do really like Emilia, especially since I want to use Marjorie as the middle (if not the first) and Emilia Marjorie is lovely.

Thank you!

Violet or Juliet both go well.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 03/06/2024 02:45

Emilia and Cecilia are too similar.

I like Eloise with it.

wickerpram · 03/06/2024 02:46

Madeleine would work really well.

StartupRepair · 03/06/2024 02:49

Your dds have lovely names. Cecilia and Emilia is a bit rhyming. How about something different like:
Maude
Ingrid
Astrid
Verity
Veronica
Clementine

NetMum2 · 03/06/2024 03:40

I think Eloise actually works better than Elodie (and Eloisa), as it doesn’t rhyme with either Rosalie or Cecelia. Love Juliet and Jasmine too!

I’d avoid anything that rhymed. My first thought was Madeleine.

Eloise is lovely!

How about Annabelle or Lucinda?

sleepandcoffee · 03/06/2024 07:12

Emmeline or Ophelia

Enko · 03/06/2024 07:14
