Someone on my instagram has an Arrow arriving in August. She already has a baby Armour

I know I'd never use it because I'm not brave! But does anyone else secretly like these names?

The name is just a name. Raising your children in the 'quiverful' movement and she obviously is condones horrendous child abuse.

She does a YouTube talk on discipline and refers to 1-7 as the ‘spanking years’. Hits her children with implements (says ‘I do not use my hands’. )

OK she hasn’t, as far as we know, killed any of her kids but as a proponent of life she seems careless of her own, if the telling of her medical history is true ( heart issues and more) as she was told further pregnancies would put her life at risk. So she would rather follow the Quiverfull priority in having more children than protect the mother of those she has.

Though obviously people manage to dream up a variety of ill spelt names without subscribing to a cult.

Given that they’re fundamentalists who are anti-feminism, anti-gay, anti-birth control, anti-common sense, believe in hitting children, and homeschool in case any of their children catch rationalism from school, the stupid names are a minor issue.

Arrow sounds ok, but I can imagine quite a lot of crude jokes after puberty if he’s a boy. I personally would not use it.

Arrow and Armour together is just ridiculous sounding.

Wow, just read about that movement. I actually feel quite sorry for anyone who gets sucked into that movement, children, women and men. It can’t be good for any of them

Yes, and she's actually had one of her youngest children in hospital on the brink of death a couple of times because she refused to get her the appropriate help.

Please just take a second to think if you were an employer reading a CV of somebody called ARROW. I don't understand the need for these unrealistic names. You're naming a human not an animal the poor child has to live with this name until they are old enough to change it. Kids are brutal as it is these days with bullying.

I'm definitely in the minority here, but I love the name Arrow. My daughter 18 months is Arowe and if she was a boy it would've been Arrow.
Everyone calles her Rowie most of the time. No one has ever commented on it being a 'weapon' name, and i didnt really think about it at the time but we did get it from a family name 'Yarrow', we get compliments all the time on her name! My older son is Leo, and I've always loved the name Beau so I'm glad my partner talked me out of that! 🤣
