Finding naming twins so hard!

Hi everyone, we're expecting identical twins and are really struggling with names :( Our shortlists so far

Girls
Eden
Cora
Rosa
Nora

Boys
Myles
Jonah
Flynn
Jasper
Frasier

Any opinions welcome x

Pick two names you love equally.

Don't have them starting with the same letter or rhyming.

It's OK if one is one syllable and the other 2, but try to have a similar vibe.

Check that diminutives won't rhyme or sound funny. (Matilda and Camilla fine but Tilly & Milly not, Thomas and Jeremiah fine but Tom & Jerry, Myles and Frasier - people will think Niles and Frasier )

Name T1 the name that comes alphabetically last, so that T2 can be first on lists not always second.

Both your name lists are from names that are currently popular and not overused, and I like that they are not frilly and long. I only like Rosa from your girls list and Jasper from the boys.

Eden - seems a bit too current. Unisex. Not keen
Cora - apple corer
Rosa - nice
Nora - prefer Norah

Of those, Rosa and Norah/Cora but I'd pick Anna, Astrid or Nina instead of Nora

Myles - Miles is nice but I don't like Myles
Jonah - and the Whale. Bad luck association
Flynn - ok, prefer Finn
Jasper - ok
Frasier - I like Fraser but Frasier was a tv comedy.

Of those Miles and Flynn, or Miles and Finn, or Miles and Fraser.

Just pick two names that you like. They're individuals, not a pair so it doesn't have to be any more complicated than if you were naming siblings born at different times. You've some lovely names in that list to choose from. Congratulations, twins are fantastic!

Eden and Rosa sound nice together because it makes me think of nature.
(secretly I want you to go for Cora and Nora but I know really you shouldn't.....).
Jonah and Flynn sound ok together.
Go and shout them loudly in a park - see if it has a good "flow".

I'd avoid rhyming, names begging with the same name and overtly matching names, but otherwise just pick two names you like. You have some lovely options on your list.

Try and have names that either one could come first. I met twin girls once and said them the other way around and the girl whose name I said first was so delighted she wasn’t last like always

I used to live in a country where the tradition was that certain names were always given to sets of twins.

Certainly made things easier when it came to choosing names!

Good advice. I know 8yo twins called Benedict and Gerard. Have the parents never had Ben and Jerry’s?!

I love Rosa and Cora, and like Nora and Eden.

I love Jasper and really like Flynn and Jonah. Myles is quite nice. Less keen on Frasier personally.

From your girl names I like Rosa best Eden is not to my taste but all your other girl names rhyme with Rosa and I think you'll should avoid rhyming names.
For the boys names just choose your favourite two.
