Name to go with surname?

Just found out we are having a baby boy in October and we are struggling for a name!! Our main issue is getting something to match our surname - Ives.

I don’t want anything really popular so top 20 are off the cards really, and I feel like one syllable or S ending names don’t work with the last name.

Any ideas would be massively appreciated!

Such a tricky surname!

Jacob Ives

Admittedly, it was ranked 17th most popular name, in 2021. I bet it's actually out of the top 20 by now though.

Ives is a lovely surname.

I used to love Burl Ives and thought he had such a cool sounding name.

Ives is such a difficult surname to pair with anything. I never realised before.

Jacob Ives would be J.Ives

Terence (whilst not typical for this generation) I thought had a nice ring to it. But it sounds too much like Terrifies!

Best of luck finding something you love.
