middle name for jules?

Just posted a thread about boys names but in writing and reading it I realized I quite like the name Jules! Considering Julian as well, but I'm feeling more and more drawn to Jules on its own.

Essentially just asking if you have middle name ideas for Jules? Julian as well if there's anything especially nice. Family names are Dean, Caleb, George, William, Robert, Michael, Thomas, and Austin.

Siblings are Christopher, Jasper, and Lily! Their first & middle names are all 5 syllables, so something around that would be nice for this one as well, not too fussed on that but I don't like the idea of anything too short :( Their middle names are 8 letters, 8 letters, and 6 letters respectively.

I personally prefer Julian as the given name with Jules as a nn (Jules sounds a little feminine to me as a standalone name).

I'm thinking I might end up going Julian or Julius just because of how hard it is to find a middle name for Jules 😭

Jules Elliott and Jules Oliver are both nice I think. Maybe a middle name beginning with a vowel is what I need to be looking for. Thank you for your help!

Thoughts on Jules Austin? I think it may be one of my favourites.

Holland 😆 doesn't sound daft so something like that - two syllables and quite a traditional strong sounding name.

I'm heavily considering Austin, I think I really like a vowel name with it. Jules William is cool! Thoughts on Julian Austin, Julian Ellis? Think going with Julian nn Jules is probably a better choice.

Julian "Jules" Austin is my #1 atm, but not sure about the double n ending.

Julius is lovely. Julian is nice. Jules is very girly.

I'm not too bothered with Jules being considered feminine because personally I think it would be very handsome on a boy! My name is a gender neutral one anyways so maybe that adds to it.

My issue with Julian Austin is the double n ending, but what do you think of Julius Austin instead?

I'm thinking when compared to Christopher and Jasper, Jules comes off a bit short/incomplete so I'm most likely going to go Julian or Julius. Think I might like Julian a bit better, but I'm not too fussed with that since I don't mind either and I would call him Jules anyways. It'll most likely be up to whatever fn/mn combination sounds best, and it's looking like that's in between Julius Austin and Julian Ellis.

Jules is a girl's name

I think the child won't thank you for Jules because it's a female name. I'd go with Julius or Julian.

I definitely prefer Julian to Julius. So I'd chose your middle name to go with it. Most of the time if the middle name is being said it will be with the formal first name and surname.

So maybe it wouldnt matter that the middle name doesn't really go with the first name, like Jules George doesn't work for me but Julian George does.

If its between them I'd go Julian Ellis

I think I've entirely changed my mind on Austin and Ellis and my new favourite is Henry 😆

We were considering naming him Henry anyways but changed our minds due to how many there are in our area. Had he been a Henry he would have been Henry Austin, but I'm thinking Julian Henry is quite lovely (thank you to those that suggested it!). I quite like Jules Henry as well so it works out! Thank you to everyone for your help 😊
