can't think of a boy name!!

Hi! We've got a baby boy on the way and absolutely can't think of anything!! Brothers are Jasper and Christopher, sister is Lily and if he was a girl his name would have been Emma, but we really liked Dianna, Clara, and Lucy (no shortage of girl names as you can see!!)

We toyed around with Leo, Miles, Theo, and Henry but none seem like the one. Lately I've found myself drawn to Julian/Jules, but I'm still a bit on the fence :(

Names we would like to use as the middle name (but can't as the first!) are Austin and Robin, but we aren't too attached to either (wouldn't use Robin as a first name anyways)! Double barelled last name, two syllable-one syllable, ending with a short i sound and a "t" (think "lift").

First name and middle name combos are appreciated! Thank you in advance :)

Also - as I was writing this, Matthew came to mind? Not sure though, maybe if there was a lovely middle name to go with it.

Matthew is lovely! A lovely underused classic that sounds great with your sibling names. Matthew Robin sounds lovely. Or Matthew Tobias, Matthew Oscar or Matthew Alexander.

Not sure about Rupert, but Julius is a cute alternative to Julian! Matthew Robin is cute as well, and I might bring up Peter and Elliot. Loveee Benjamin but it's my cats name 😭😭

The more I think about it the more I really like Julian nn Jules, or even just Jules as the first name, but not sure about middle names. Family names are:

Dean, Caleb, George, William, Robert, Michael, Thomas, and Austin

Not in love with it but does Julian Austin work do you think? Jules Austin? Maybe even Julian Dean, I just can't decide😭. The more I read it the more I like Jules instead of Julian.

His brothers all have pretty long middle names, 8 letters & 2 syllables, and 8 letters & 3 syllables. Lily's has 6 letters & 3 syllables, so I'm not all that sold on Dean :(

I think Benedict would work well with his brother's names: they're all traditional but not the obvious choices today

I have a young Peter and he's adorable

Liking Peter the more that I read it! I don't like anything that sounds too biblical, so not too sure about Jude/Ezekial/names of that nature. Spencer, Sebastian, and Noah are quite nice, and I might come around to Tobias and Lucas. Thank you for the help!!

Thoughts on middle names? For Henry we were considering Henry Dean, Henry Austin, and Henry William. Maybe Henry Jules could work.

I think all your family names are fine middle names (other than Dean), how you resisted calling Christopher Christopher Robin I do not know.

I like Julian and considered I myself. Joules is cool too but I wouldn't use as a first name when you have a Christopher as it looks too nicknamey when your others have longer names.

Matthew is nice and seems a bit unexpected these days which I like.
