I love the name Clementine x

Okeydokeyroo · 26/04/2024 21:53

It sounds like a joke name, sorry.

Tygertiger · 26/04/2024 21:54

No. Clementine or Christina.

ZipZapZoom · 26/04/2024 21:56

It sounds very overly fussy like you've joined two names together and likely to be autocorrected to Clementine.

I'm also pretty sure its the name of a drink?

BarbarasRhabarberBar · 26/04/2024 21:56

Love clementine. Not too keen on clementina. It's not quite right. I'd imagine they will be a clem either way..: whether you want them to be or not.

Josette77 · 26/04/2024 21:56

Clementine is perfect. 💝

Overthebow · 26/04/2024 21:56

Nickname would be Clem, Clemmie or Tina…

Georgianbase · 26/04/2024 21:57

It sounds a bit too upper class for me!

PurpleCacao · 26/04/2024 21:58

Please don’t do this to your child

Workawayxx · 26/04/2024 22:02

I think clementine is lovely but clementina sounds like you’ve taken an already fairly full on name and made it even more frilly tbh. Valentina is beautiful of you like the “a” ending.

Moreteaandchocolate · 26/04/2024 22:03

Sorry I find Clementina a bit frilly / posh for my taste.

GoodOldEmmaNess · 26/04/2024 22:04

Nooooo. If you want to name your child after a small orange and want the name to end in 'a', call him/her Satsuma.

Diamond007D · 26/04/2024 22:05

For some reason I just really hear the Tina bit so no.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 26/04/2024 22:06

I prefer Clementine or Clemency

FunnysInLaJardin · 26/04/2024 22:08

I love it, and am quite posh 😁

Hairyfairy01 · 26/04/2024 22:11

I think of an orange 🤷‍♀️

twentysevendresses · 26/04/2024 22:17

It's like a hybrid of Clementine and Satsuma 🤦‍♀️

PitterPatter3 · 26/04/2024 22:35

Thank you for honest views. The only person I know with this name is Italian which we are not.

Far too frilly

atomicginge · 26/04/2024 23:50

I went to school with a girl named Clementine, her nickname was Clemmie.. I assume Clementina's nn could be Tina?

caringcarer · 27/04/2024 00:13

My DH grandmother was called Hannah Clementine. Not sure about Clemantina though. You could call her Clemantine and she'll probably get the nn of Tina anyway.

Orangina!

VisitationRights · 27/04/2024 00:17

I don’t think it sounds posh at all, quite the opposite, I am surprised at some of the comments.

GoodOldEmmaNess · 27/04/2024 06:35

Orangina would workGrin.

Wishlist99 · 27/04/2024 06:40

as per pp I love the names Valentina and Clementine. Not so keen on Celmintina and now all I can think of is Orangina!
