…. Rudy!

Does it go? Would get called Roo, I think ..

It is our fave, but has been met with mixed reactions from parents, so kind of hunting for similar names …… or reassurance that Rudy IS a nice name, goes well with the other two and to go for it!

Some other names we liked:

Rowan
Remy
Ellis
Sidney
Jude
Spencer
Dexter
Rex
Cass

He’s nearly 3 days old and I just need to make a decision 😂

Any help appreciated!

Thanks x x

I don't like Rudy. It feels nicknamey and there is the Guiliani thing.

If Roo is what you are aiming for, I agree that Rueben is lovely, or Rupert.

I also like Remy, Sidney, and think Dexter is quite sweet. My favourite from your list is Ellis.

Rowan 10000%

I also love Roo as a nickname, but find Rudy to be too close to "rude" (sorry) - would Ruaridh be an option for the same nickname?

Also, I think Spencer goes beautifully with your other names!

I don’t mind Rudy, but prefer Rufus, Rupert or Reuben for a diminutive of Ru or Roo. Also it’s another ‘ee’ sound at the end which is quite matchy matchy with your other boys names. However it’s your choice and if you love it then go for it!
