Vivian ❤️

Potatomashed · 27/01/2024 21:56

Love Vivian! Like Lilan. Valeria reminds me of the herb valerian which is sleep inducing but it’s not awful

Aglassaday · 27/01/2024 21:58

Both Vivian and Lilian are super cute I think!
I really hate to be that person but Valeria just reminds me of malaria😅

If you need any similar name suggestions…
Vienna
Lianna
Lilia
Via
Verity
Violet
Viola
Luella
Liliana

SOxon · 27/01/2024 21:58

Liliana -

SOxon · 27/01/2024 21:59

Vivian is the masculine spelling btw, female is Vivienne

ConcertaFirstTimer · 27/01/2024 22:01

I like Vivian best. Gorgeous name with a great meaning.

Beginningless · 27/01/2024 22:02

Agree Vivian - haven’t seen it suggested before but that’s gorgeous.

Cantthinkofadifferentname · 27/01/2024 22:10

Vivien or Vivienne

Vexxa · 27/01/2024 22:16

I love Lilian but they are all nice. I also like Lavinia and Valentina which feel similar.

HardcoreLadyType · 27/01/2024 22:34

Lillian

LuluBlakey1 · 27/01/2024 22:36

The last one but I'd spell it Vivienne. It's very pretty and French-sounding.

SkaneTos · 27/01/2024 22:38

They are all very nice names!
My favourite would be Lilian.

theduchessofspork · 27/01/2024 22:41

Vivienne

Valeria does sound a bit like a disease - Valentina is better - but Val and Tina are both pretty awful - Vivia maybe? Or Victoria nn Vita?

Lillian will just end up Lily which is drippy and overdone

Emma8888 · 27/01/2024 22:41

If you end up on Vivian I'd spell it a feminine way for a girl, Vivianne and Vivienne are both feminine forms, Vivien is also feminine but I think less common. Vivian is male.

43ontherocksporfavor · 27/01/2024 22:42

Vivienne

Tezza1 · 27/01/2024 22:45

Valeria as I like both Ancient Greek and Roman names. Vivian is more an adaption of a Roman name, and Lilian is just based on Latin. But that's simply based on my fondness for the history, I suppose.

Onelife2024 · 27/01/2024 22:59

Lilian is my favourite of your choices - you have the options of Lily and Lil as she grows up.

Vivian or Vivienne is nice too - I’m just not so keen on the Viv shortening. Vivi is nice for a young child but she is likely to become Viv at some point.

Sorry I’m not keen on Valeria.

Other ideas -
Lilia
Lily
Hazel
Eliza
Evelyn

NewName24 · 28/01/2024 00:10

Valaria sound rather medical to me - I wouldn't us that.

Lilian - not a particular favourite name of mine, but it fits very much with the genre of 'old lady names' that have been popular and continue to be in vogue at the moment.

If you use Vivienne then I'd spell it the feminine way - Vivienne.

MaloneMeadow · 28/01/2024 00:45

Lillian❤️ Really like Vivian too however I much prefer the Vivienne spelling, it looks far nicer and classier to me. Valeria just sounds like a disease or medication

oldnorsesaga · 28/01/2024 09:38

I like Valeria and Lillian the best. Love Valeria

Watchthedoormat · 28/01/2024 09:43

Lilian.
I do like Vivienne but it does remind me of the Vivienne shoes all the girls wear. My dad is always talking about Vivienne's

DuchessOfSausage · 28/01/2024 16:03

Vivien. Vivian's a man's name.

timoteigirl · 28/01/2024 17:00

Valeriana or Valentina. The two other options sound really old fashioned. What about Veronica?

DuchessOfSausage · 28/01/2024 17:12

Valeriana is too long. She'll be Val.

nameXname · 28/01/2024 19:30

Vivienne sounds the opposite of classy to me.
The standard female spelling is Vivien. Simple and elegant.

I knew an utterly admirable Holocaust survivor named Valeria. It's a very dignified ancient Roman name and she continued that dignity and strength and added compassion and humanity, in spite of all. Whenever I hear the name, I think of her.
