Aurora is beautiful!

TiaSeeya · 16/01/2024 13:53

Nice but Aurora is hard to say
Ariel is the Little Mermaid
Aria is lovely and THE best character in Game of Thrones! It has musical connections so as long as she wouldn’t feel pressure to be musical!

NachosAndCheese · 16/01/2024 14:13

Aurora because Ariel is the little mermaid. Not a big fan of Aria, it’s a bit overused.

KirstenBlest · 16/01/2024 14:14

Ariel. If she has a sister she can be Lenor.

Sleeping Beauty or Mermaid?

Notlongtogo2 · 16/01/2024 14:37

I much prefer Aurora.

If you’re open to suggestions, how about Ava, Amber or Athena (nn Attie)?

KeepSmiling89 · 16/01/2024 14:43

Out of those 3 - Aria is my favourite, closely followed by Aurora.

KirstenBlest · 16/01/2024 14:58

@Notlongtogo2 , the Athenas I know are Thani and Tia. Thea could be a nn too.

BungleandGeorge · 16/01/2024 15:04

Out of them I’d say aria. Did you want a Disney connection?
Ariel reminds me more of washing liquid than the little mermaid. Aurora I just find doesn’t sound that nice when spoken aloud. It’s ok though

itsmyp4rty · 16/01/2024 15:08

Aria is my favourite. Ariel is a definite no, either a mermaid or washing powder.

Lavender14 · 16/01/2024 15:16

I prefer Aria as well.

Aurora is hard to say and Ariel is very much the little mermaid to me. But if you want a strong Disney connection then I'd go Ariel.

Aurora is Sleeping Beauty!

hanschristmassolo · 16/01/2024 16:16

Neither both awful

You are not giving birth to a Disney princess you are giving birth to someone who will be an adult one day

Pemba · 16/01/2024 16:22

I agree that Aurora is nice but hard to pronounce. Particularly for people who can't pronounce 'R', and little children.

Ariel is nice, but there's a strong Disney connection. Have you considered Ariella? (arry-Ella). Or Ariana?

Onelife2024 · 16/01/2024 17:38

Sorry op but Ariel and Aurora are too Disney for my taste - I think I would cringe as an adult introducing myself with one of those names.

Aria is much nicer.

Do you like Audrey?

DesertSnow · 16/01/2024 17:48

Aria

KirstenBlest · 16/01/2024 17:51

Aria is the best of the three but it's popular and nothingy.
Ariel looks masculine
Aurora is too many Rs

The look nice but are too disney princess

Samzzz · 16/01/2024 18:32

I’d go with Ariel it’s a lovely name. Another option could be Auriol?
Aurora and Aria are both nice but too popular for me.

ReadtheReviews · 16/01/2024 18:34

Ariel for a change. Heard quite a few Auroras lately.

letitialane · 16/01/2024 18:58

Ariel

Razorflight · 16/01/2024 19:02

I like Aurora. I know one who is known as Rory.
Athena is quite nice too.
what about Alannah-not many of them at the moment

SirSamVimesCityWatch · 16/01/2024 19:09

Aurelia?

Appleass · 16/01/2024 19:11

neither!

SirChenjins · 16/01/2024 19:13

Are you a big Disney fan?!

Neither of them.

HellsToilet · 16/01/2024 19:14

Aurora. Aria is over used and Ariel is a boy's name usually.

coldcallerbaiter · 16/01/2024 19:15

Arya too, But Aria is the best out of your 3
