I love it!

blackfluffycat · 01/01/2024 11:38

I didn't think of butter or cows but I'd assume you were hippies.

Getamoveon36 · 01/01/2024 11:39

Margarine

Toottooot · 01/01/2024 11:41

The Highway Rat is my first thought.

LadySlipper · 01/01/2024 11:43

I love it.

LangMayYerLumReek2024 · 01/01/2024 11:45

I prefer Flora

I instantly thought of butter

theconfidenceofwho · 01/01/2024 11:46

Butter for me too.

jellytots18 · 01/01/2024 11:48

It's not my cup of tea

But it is quite cute. I don't think it's ridiculous
. If you like it go for it x

itsmyp4rty · 01/01/2024 11:49

I think it's lovely.........but unfortunately only for a cow.

MargaritaThyme · 01/01/2024 11:49

Great idea. If you have twins, you can call them Clover & Flora. Or, if it’s triplets, Clover, Flora & Utterly Butterly….

Duh · 01/01/2024 11:50

It’s a lovely sound but the cow associations make it a no go!

twistandfart · 01/01/2024 12:14

Cow or butter, sorry!

Olika · 01/01/2024 12:17

I had to check which section your thread was to understand you were asking about baby names.

Pushkinini · 01/01/2024 12:26

I went to school with a Clover back in the 80s. I think it's a lovely name.

Oldermum84 · 01/01/2024 12:28

Love it.

sunflowerpinks · 01/01/2024 12:41

It sounds so masculine, like Grover.

I really don't think it suits a girl, sorry.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 01/01/2024 12:42

I absolutely love it!!

Sugarfree23 · 01/01/2024 12:42

"Wonder if she spreads like the butter?"
😳😬

My initial thoughts were jokes about 4 leafed clover 🍀.
But spreading like butter and the sexual innuendo that goes with it. No definitely not.

Stresa22 · 01/01/2024 12:43

Maybe Honeysuckle instead?

Honeyroar · 01/01/2024 12:49

It’s quite sweet, and in the era when kids get animal names (Hunter, Roman and Willow were the latest I’ve known) and pets get human names, anything goes!

GHSP · 01/01/2024 12:55

I start singing ‘roll me over, in the clover…׳

LuluBlakey1 · 01/01/2024 12:57

I prefer Lurpak- slightly salted.

wellyesisupposeso · 01/01/2024 13:12

I do initially think of cows, but I don't think it's insurmountable. I quite like it.

I then think of the song Crimson and Clover which I absolutely love.
