Morgan for a girl?

I know it's been more popular for girls for a while now but what do you think?

I used to teach a girl called Morgan. Her sister was called Mercedes. I'm not joking - dad was a car nut and wanted all his kids named after makes of car. Lovely girls though!

I know a girl called Morgan who is sister to Jayden, so yes, you have a point, both chavtastic names

My DD (in her 30’s) best friend is called Morgan. She’s lovely. Go for it. I prefer Morgan for a girl than a boy.

Morgane and Morgana are much nicer. Morgan is too surnamey and masculine-sounding.

Morven or Morwenna are alternatives and are both pretty.

She is now known as lots of similar names (I googled, because I thought that, as well) but I prefer Morgana to Morgan. It sounds witchier. 🧹

It's not a name I used to like, but the only Morgan I know is so lovely that it's got positive associations for me now.

I knew sisters whose dad is a lorry driver. Their middle names were Scania and Volvo!

I know 2 female Morgan's (age 15 ish). I don't know any boy ones so I would probably think of it as a girls name.
Not a name I would personally choose but when I hear it I wouldn't think anything particular about it (like whether it's "chav" - urrgh hate that phase).
(I also know about 4 or 5 Jayden's. None of them are "chav" 🙄)

I know Morgan is a Welsh male name but I have known more female Morgan's then males.
