Too 90s?

I tend to get fixated on lovely names and then put myself off.

Current favourite is Naomi for a few reasons, but with everyone going very cool / younique at the moment would it stand out for wrong reasons?

Also considering Romy, clearly like the sound!

I think Naomi is a beautiful name! It works well on kids and adults.

Romy is nice too, but personally I prefer Naomi.

It's lovely, not too 90s at all. There's a few pronunciations so just be prepared for that (ive heard all of NAY-uh-me, Nay-OH-me, Nye-OH-me).

I like Naomi a lot, but pronounced Nay oh mee. I dislike it being pronounced incorrectly though as Ni oh mee, which would happen a lot, I reckon.

The mispronunciation drives me insane. I am constantly correcting people. Na sounding like hay not Ni sounding like eye.

I have one of these! Strong, clever and beautiful. Her being called Niomi at times almost drove me mad, but honestly, she was wonderful enough for it not to matter too much.

I love it, it's a beautiful name.

I've got a Naomi. She is always Nomi to us. She gets lots of compliments on her name. She is a lovely, kind, funny little weirdo!

People do mispronounce it alot but can't say it bothers me or her much, I don't even notice most of the time.

I have a colleague called Naomi. Half of the team call her Naomi and half call her N-eye-omi.

That would drive me mad but If you wouldn’t mind, it’s a nice name.

I think it’s beautiful and timeless. Romy is beautiful too, I also like Romilly, but those are quite on trend at the moment.

I'm a Naomi - pronounced many ways, it bothers my mum, but I don't mind how people say it, TBH.

Naomi is a beautiful name. It is my first choice for if I have a girl in the future.

Naomi is very elegant and classic. Never popular enough to be dated, but it’s been mentioned on here a bit so probably having a bit of a revival.

Romy is just blah to me, and it appeared pretty much out of nowhere so it will date and it’s very insubstantial. Romilly is slightly better
