Charlotte or Lily?

DH and I are expecting a baby girl very soon and are torn between Charlotte and Lily. On balance we both prefer Lily but fear it’s too popular/a bit wet. What are peoples
thoughts? TIA

I love them both. I would have had a Charlotte but only had boys.

Every class in my school has a Lily, Lilly, Lili or Lilah in it.

Both lovely names and both really popular as a result. Can’t really go wrong with either of them.

I much prefer Charlotte. Lily is overused.

Definitely Lily, it’s much nicer. Charlotte is so dull and there’s far more of them I would say then Lilys.

According to Darkgreener, Charlotte is #35, Lily #7. There are lots of names like Lila, Lyla, Lilia, Luna, Milly, Tilly etc that are similar to Lily.

Both lovely! But I’d probably choose Charlotte because I love the shortened Lottie or Charlie.

I'd choose Charlotte.

I love both but would go with Lily only for the reason I know a Charlotte and once she went to school she was called Charlie which has stuck and her family know her as Charlie now..which is fine if you would be happy with that

I wanted to call my baby Charlotte but when she was born she was a Jonathan 😂😂 ( I was so so sure I was having a girl 😂😂)

I don’t dislike lily, but Jonathan couldn’t say Willy, he said lily, so it sort of spoils it for me

Lily is really wall paper now sorry. Just not special at all.
