Winston was my grandads name, I think it was a generational thing post war that's since gone out of fashion.

I know several Merlins, Clementines, Lauries, Hepzibahs, and Kits. Probably the most unusually-named people I know are Helgi, Japhet and Tiger-Lily.

Unusually named nursery children were Moss (boy) and Leaf (a girl). Oh, and Sheldon.

One of my children has a new school friend called Briseida. It's a traditional but apparently rare-ish Spanish language name, mainly used in Mexico/Central America. I'd never heard the name before, but I like it.

We have a Unique at my school. He's lovely too 🤷‍♀️🤣
