All right mumsnetters go on then, suggest a name for DD3?

Because I don't have a clue.

Here's the criteria:

  • surname is one syllable (spp?) so need something a bit longer to go is possible 3 syllables
  • DD1 is Abbie DD2 is Talia so ideally don't want A or T names
  • don't want something really common so top 10 is out want something a bit unusual but not wacky and is still pretty and girly

Oh and I'm very fussy and DP and I can't agree on anything.

ismellofbabysick - thats spooky as Bethany is the only name DP and I have come up with so far. We decided to go without the h in Tahlia as it was bad enough for the relatives to have an unusual name nevermind confuse them even further (although my Dad still cannot pronouce her name).

I met my first ever Elodie today, in the park. She was absolutely adorable and her mum said the name was French.

My dh's 2nd cousin & his wife had a little girl about a week ago and they have named her Jocelyn. A lovely girly and uncommon name imo.

Clemency. Oh, I do so LOVE Clemency. Mind you, when I tell my dd that I 5 had thought of it she would have been called Clemency she recoils in horror.......

Had I named DD2 Grace, it would have caused people to fall over laughing. Graceful she ain't.

Beware these names, they can end up a total misnomer.

grumpy we had it on list for dd1 and thank goodness we chose something else, she more like a foghorn leghorn farmer in tackity boots lol

Now can't decide between Formaldehyde or Foccacia now

Already have a Grace in the family.
