Because I don't have a clue.

Here's the criteria:

  • surname is one syllable (spp?) so need something a bit longer to go is possible 3 syllables
  • DD1 is Abbie DD2 is Talia so ideally don't want A or T names
  • don't want something really common so top 10 is out want something a bit unusual but not wacky and is still pretty and girly

Oh and I'm very fussy and DP and I can't agree on anything.

Beth doesn't go with surname although it will probably get shortened .

All DP's fault if they had MY surname I could have any name

god they're soooooooo selfish sometimes!! I have same predicament as our surname is very much a first name in scotland so we have to be careful too!

did that link work, honestly they are name daft over there and if you post for help they will give you about a million suggestions/alternatives and then you can narrow it down to a poll

Elodie is pretty and unusual. Bethany v.popular just now. You can use Logan as a girls name too I think. Names like Elliot could be Ellie, Elise, Eloise, Eliana, Elena.

Janni · 05/03/2008 17:53

Am surprising myself by liking Elodie - I haven't heard it before. Elena and Eloise are pretty.

Janni · 05/03/2008 17:54

Have we had Eliza? I'm enjoying this and it's got sod all to do with me!!!

3Ddonut · 05/03/2008 17:58

Haven't read everyone's suggestions, but what about Julia, not too unusual, but not very common, and very pretty (so is my dd who is a Julia!!!)

3Ddonut · 05/03/2008 18:00

couldn't Elliot be a girls name too (as in Scrubs??)

BoysAreLikeDogs · 05/03/2008 18:01

Vote for 3donut's Julia
