Hello there! I was just wondering if you could possibly give me some thoughts on these? We can't use/don't like Eloise, Celestina/e.

I love Celeste. Not keen on Aurora as been very popular near me over last few years. Louisa and Christina feel dated to me.

KirstenBlest · 10/09/2023 13:08

Louisa or Christina. Aurora is awful and Celeste makes me think of Marie-Celeste

KnobbingtonKnobberson · 10/09/2023 13:11

Celeste is my favourite. Sounds cool and feminine without being frilly.

Which brings me on to Aurora. Far too frilly and Disney for me.

Louisa and Christina are both good solid names.

cctvrec · 10/09/2023 13:12

Christina is my fave but it's also my name. Unfortunately I get sick to the back teeth of being called Chris or worse, a different name, Christine. It also doesn't matter how many times I correct people, they KNOW it's Christina but refuse to use it. Weird.

BeaLola · 10/09/2023 13:13

Celeste of Louisa

Christina is ok but it's a bit meh

Aurora - I just think Disney

Notellinganyone · 10/09/2023 13:13

Louisa isa great name. Classic - Jane Austen uses it. Classy, unlike Louise, and not too common while not being try hard. Lovely.

NotTellingYouMyRealOne · 10/09/2023 13:14

Aurora is a bit Disney princess.
Louisa... I'm biased as my DD is Louisa. Most people seem very positive about it... recognisable but not over used. Works well in other countries too.
Celeste.. its ok
Christina... just doesn't seem to be used now. Completely inoffensive.

EggInANest · 10/09/2023 13:14

Celeste or Louisa

Berlinlover · 10/09/2023 13:15

Louisa is beautiful.

Theoldwoman · 10/09/2023 13:22

I love Celeste the most, then Louisa.

The other two are not my style.

MarconiUnionWeightless · 10/09/2023 13:23

Cool, interesting.
DH's least favourite is Aurora.

Louisa. 🥰

Maskedpotato · 10/09/2023 15:20

I like Louisa and Christina but I am not keen on the shortenings.

ThreeKneeRepeater · 10/09/2023 15:24

Louisa.
Aurora is awful if you can’t say your ‘r’s properly. Auwowa.

KirstenBlest · 10/09/2023 15:38

None of the names need to be shortened. I know a few Christinas who are only Christina and some who are Tina.

peaceinourtime · 10/09/2023 16:12

Louisa or Christina

LauderSyme · 10/09/2023 16:14

Celeste is my favourite followed by Aurora. Not keen on the others, sorry.

Lilolilibet · 10/09/2023 16:15

Become a Catholic and call them all of those in alphabetical order.

Mumofgirls2017 · 10/09/2023 16:19

Aurora!

ididntwanttodoit · 10/09/2023 16:39

I adore Celeste - who is Babar's queen, btw!

Daisybuttercup12345 · 20/09/2023 09:39

Celeste is very pretty 😍

MiniEggsAllYear · 20/09/2023 09:40

Celeste is gorgeous, we very nearly used it for our DD. I like Aurora too, however I think Celeste is a little bit more classic and better on a grown up woman.

VenusClapTrap · 20/09/2023 13:08

Christina

bleuclair · 20/09/2023 13:10

Louisa or Christina in that order

SisterAgatha · 20/09/2023 13:13

Louisa is a family name for us. So it doesn’t feel of any particular time for me, its in all our generations so I don’t think it ages, it’s classic - like Rebecca.

Aurora is very time stamped.
