Lovely.

BHRK · 06/09/2023 21:00

Awful sorry

TomatoSandwiches · 06/09/2023 21:03

I love it.

partypompoms · 06/09/2023 21:05

Great. Love it.

Many many many kids in Wales are Wyn/Wynne/Wynn, often as a middle name and often all siblings of the same family will share the name.

Poontangle · 06/09/2023 21:06

Great name. Full of character.

cherryassam · 06/09/2023 21:07

I think it’s a lovely name - I can imagine it working on a little boy and an elderly man which is a sign of a good name

MidnightOnceMore · 06/09/2023 21:07

I like it.

KirstenBlest · 06/09/2023 21:08

Wyn is the preferred spelling and it's not used much as a first name but was the go to middle name in the mid-20th century.
I prefer Gwyn - they both mean the same.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 06/09/2023 21:09

I’d spell it Wyn but apart from that it’s a fab name

KirstenBlest · 06/09/2023 21:09

The best bit is that it sounds like Win. I don't like the Wynne spelling

chipsandpeas · 06/09/2023 21:10

hotel in vegas

Soapyspuds · 06/09/2023 21:15

Was he conceived in a Las Vegas hotel?

KayEmAy · 06/09/2023 21:41

I LOVE this for a boy! Especially as a stand alone name :)

Do it :)

neverenoughwine · 06/09/2023 21:45

I think it's lovely. Not a name I'd thought of before.

Would suit a cute cheeky child and a strong man!

Go for it!

Guavafish1 · 06/09/2023 21:46

Very Nice

PurpleChrayne · 06/09/2023 21:47

You Wynn some, you lose some.

Cattenberg · 06/09/2023 21:48

Are you watching Celebrity Masterchef by any chance?

lilyborderterrier · 06/09/2023 21:51

Lovely name x

ElizaWinter · 06/09/2023 22:07

Prefer Winston

lostinwales · 06/09/2023 22:13

Very common name especially in Welsh speaking areas (probably not an issue if you are not in Wales but I can't imagine using the name if you aren't!). From experience it can be mystifying if you move to England. Be aware that if you are in West Wales approx 95% of people (male and female) have it as a middle name which means that quite a lot of the men use it as their known name due to Welsh Name Rules (mam edition).

Ps if you use it please spell it with just one N. Don't know why but I only like that way and it's very important to take my wishes into consideration when naming your child Grin

ThePoshUns · 06/09/2023 23:09

Lots of Wyns in Wales of all ages. Great name.

ApoodlecalledPenny · 06/09/2023 23:11

I also prefer Gwyn

HalebiHabibti · 06/09/2023 23:11

Makes me think of the dreadful religious hypocrite Kai Wynn in Star Trek DS9, who came to a bad end. But if you like it!!
