Really love it. We nearly named our DD Gaia, and I’ll always slightly regret not using it. I picture Gaia as an intelligent, well-read woman, who is very cool and slightly mysterious.

It's not spelt or pronounced like "gay" and I don't think school children use "gay" as an insult any more anyway do they?

Gaia Pope was my first thought too. It's a pretty name but the association is too sad for me.

If you’re aware of the meaning you should also be aware of the businesses and conspiracy media channels using it and decide with that in mind.

a friend named her daughter isis in the 90s and it didn’t work out well for her
