How would you pronounce Romy? I thought it was Row-mee and I thought that was the French too but heard it pronounced now as Roh-me (short oh sound if that makes sense

I am trying to think back to the film ‘Romy and Michelle’. I am sure it was “Rom-ee”.

Row-mee. Pretty sure that’s correct. In English it would be two m’s in the middle to have a short oh sound.

The French pronounce it ‘Rommy’.
