Spelling help!

We like Isabel for a girl but unsure on which spelling?

My favourite is Isobel, which seems most common in Scotland, but they're all valid. I find Isabelle a bit frilly.

Isabel, since I think Isabelle looks a bit frilly and I always notice the 'I sob' in Isobel!

Isabel is simpler and nice but Isabelle is more common so prepare (her) to spell her name out to people otherwise they will default to the longer way.

Isabel. I think it’s the most classic and common spelling. Then Isabelle. Then Isobel.

I prefer Isobel but I'd also pronounce it slightly differently to Isabel. So depends on your preference.

Isabelle / lsabella is too frilly for me but possibly lends themself to being shortened to Belle / Bella if that is something you may want to do in the future.
