We have a shortlist of very different names and struggling to make a decision and due date is approaching!

Holly
Savannah
Sienna
Paloma

For context we're British and really liked the idea of our daughter having a name you don't hear everyday but equally don't want it to Cole across trashy.

Any thoughts very welcome 🙂

I actually think Sienna and Savannah are both a bit trashy 🙊Not super trashy (horrible word about a name anyway) but a bit!

I love it too but Sienna is becoming hugely popular in recent years. The 16th most common girl's name in 2021

Holly - lovely name but wouldn't call it 'something you don't come across every day'. Many in my generation as well as 'Holly''s in both of my children's classes! Not sure if that influences you.

Savannah - I love this

Sienna - it's cute, but again, had a bit of a boom a year or two ago and there's quite a few around now. Doesn't have as much spark as Savannah for me either.

Paloma - it might grow on me but initially I don't like the sound of it.

For me Holly is the only name that's not trashy on your list

Savannah - don't come across many/unique
Sienna - I like it
Paloma - no

Sienna is very popular.

Holly is nice but a safe and stable option.

Love Savannah but people put me off this when it was on my own shortlist and then I wondered if it would be a bit of a naff trendy name. However, still really like it!

Holly is OK. I’m on the fence about Paloma. I really dislike Sienna and Savannah - I don’t think I’d go so far as to call them “trashy”, but I have negative connotations with both.

Holly, savannah and especially Sienna definitely aren’t unusual, Sienna is probably the most common I’ve come across. I don’t like the term trashy, but Both sienna and savannah I think have negative connotations.

Holly is lovely, Paloma is nice.

If you don't want a name you hear everyday, avoid Sienna and Holly.

Sienna and Savannah are nice nice names but I see/hear them being used a lot.

Holly just reminds me of that foul Willoughby woman.

Love Paloma! I've never met anybody with that name. Savannah is my second favourite.

I think Holly is the nicest name. Not overly used nowadays and it's not trying too hard like Savannah or Paloma.

Paloma is beautiful, and the most unusual name on your list, and it would be my choice.

I'm not keen on Sienna or Savannah, I don't think they match the vibe you're looking for.
Holly really says Christmas baby to me, so I wouldn't use it for a summer baby.
