It’s called a diaeresis and is often confused with an umlaut. If you’re using an iPhone or iPad you will see it as an option if you press and hold the i key.

Same here , my mum always wore Annay Annay 😁

I would pronounce Gaia - Gaya , I'm obviously wrong though.

"Guy-ah" (lovely choice!) and probably "An-nay"? (less sure about this one but that's the way everyone pronounced the perfume when I was growing up).
