Just that really - if you hear Casey, do you think boy or girl?

I know the name is unisex, just wondered about first impressions.

Boy. It depends where you are from I suppose.

Boy - because I know one.

i think of Casey as an American boy’s name, eg Casey Jones, Casey Affleck.

In Britain, I have heard it used for girls, but it sounds chavvy. Same sort of vibe as Madison.

I think it can be either equally boy or girl, but if I had to only pick one, I'd say it's a boy's name.

Either but usually boy as a teacher.

But have had girls so either.

Girl, since the only Casey I've ever met was a girl, and also it reminds me of Casey Anthony. Plus it sounds kind of girly I think, because of Stacey, Tracy, Lacey, Cassie etc..
But mainly to me it sounds like a surname- I know three families called Casey!

Girl - I'll always think of Casey Becker

I hear Casey I think of Chicago Fire (though it's actually his surname!), closely followed by Casey Batchelor (model).

It's unisex and a surname, but not particularly offensive or likely to get the child picked on 🤷‍♀️ - unless if course they want to be sherlock holmes and its 'casey is on the case' but compared to shit kids make up is rather mild.

Girl.

Though Casey Kasem (voice of Shaggy from Scooby Doo) was obviously, like, a total boy.

Boy - Casey Kasem American DJ who hosted the Billboard Top 40.

Girl. Probably from the rougher side of the town.

Both but I know a man in his 50s with the name and it really suits him

Reminds me of the book Casey the utterly impossible horse which was my absolute favourite as a child. Casey was a male.
