Ezra is my favourite.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 12/06/2023 18:41

Ivo is lovely

DuchessOfSausage · 12/06/2023 19:25

Iddo - a bit too unusual
Ivo - Eevo or Eye-vo?
Ira - only if Jewish
Ezra - should like it but I don't

Ivo is the best of them, but I can't say I'm keen on it.
I don't like any of them

Mumofgirls2017 · 12/06/2023 22:37

Ivo

ezra is ok

Velvian · 12/06/2023 22:38

BagelO · 12/06/2023 22:39

I only like Ezra 😊

Groutyonehereagain · 12/06/2023 22:41

I don’t like any, sorry.

ODFOx · 12/06/2023 23:00

Any other children? What are their names?: Also, what is the initial of your surname and how many syllables?

important for the decision!! 🙂

cocksstrideintheevening · 12/06/2023 23:01

Ezra

Rauha · 12/06/2023 23:01

Ivo

Daisybuttercup12345 · 12/06/2023 23:55

Sorry I don't like any of them but Iddo is especially awful.

Longingforthesummer · 12/06/2023 23:57

mosiacmaker · 12/06/2023 23:59

What about Otto or Otis or Oscar?

uncomfortablydumb53 · 12/06/2023 23:59

Ezra is lovely

continentallentil · 13/06/2023 00:13

Ivo -v nice

Ezra - I like but v of the moment

Ira - I like it on a 70 year old bloke

Iddo is v odd

shoopshoopdedoo · 13/06/2023 00:15

I’m not especially keen on any. I like the sound of Ira but would be put off by the IRA association.

user1492757084 · 13/06/2023 09:03

I like Ezra.
The others are not to my taste, sorry.

Do you like Edoardo or Ivor?

UsethisUsername · 13/06/2023 09:12

Iddo is strange and looks like a misspelling

Ivo I quite like but it seems to be becoming quite popular

Ira and Ezra are absolutely lovely sounding names. However would not use them myself as I am not Jewish and while some traditionally Jewish names have become mainstream these ones haven’t in my view. It would feel the equivalent of calling my kid Giueseppe when I have no Italian connection.

Pemba · 13/06/2023 10:34

Ezra I think. Or Ivo, although I am unsure of the pronunciation - is it eye-vo or ee-vo?

Ira, traditional Jewish name, but a lot of people won't get it, they'll assume it's female, they'll mention the IRA, etc.

Iddo, sounds a bit odd, where does this come from?

Lissadell · 13/06/2023 10:35

Ivo.

2bazookas · 13/06/2023 10:41

Iddo's school nickname is going to be Idiot. Please don't do that to him.

Theoldwoman · 13/06/2023 10:53

Ezra is the only one.

Toddler101 · 13/06/2023 10:55

Ezra because it's the only name I recognise. The rest look made up words to me but I do respect they may not be from my culture?!

SallyWD · 13/06/2023 11:31

I don't any of them. Ezra is fine.

17caterpillars1mouse · 13/06/2023 11:34

Love both Ivo and Ezra. I would choose Ivo though as Ezra is shooting up the popularity charts
